These single leg wire rope slings are 3/8” diameter and 1.4 T in the vertical direction.
Used for many anchor connections in industrial rope access, these wire slings typically are used in the basket configuration, doubling the load capacity to 2.9 T. Typically two slings are used per two rope system, one for the working line and one for the fall protection line. Slings are available in standard lengths of 4’, 5’, 6’, 8’, and 10’ although other custom lengths are available. These slings have not been tested to ANSI standards.
