I’m Cody McKenzie and I’ve been in the rope access field for 12 years. After completing military training, I looked for a new career to pursue and was intrigued by the fun and adventurous nature of rope access.
My favorite part of training is witnessing the moment when the trainee learns something new and the light bulb comes on. I can see realization in their eyes, and their gained confidence in new skills as a rope access technician. We affect people’s lives everyday. Their experience with me as a trainer can be only good or bad and I try my best, every day, with every student, to make that experience good. When people walk away from our class, we want them to have had a great experience regardless of the outcome on certification day.
